Wireless Caliper

DASH has worked on developing a device that will allow you to make cranial measurements of NICU patients to calculate NICU and CVAI. This device was designed along with Orlando Health.

The device links to an iPad, and contains a suite of sensors designed to accurately and expediently get patient metrics including temperature and Cranial Vault Asymmetry Index, or CVAI.

This tool is currently in development but is predicted to help improve consistency and accuracy of measurements taken in the NICU improving early detecting and tracking of head shape issues. The intuitive design of the device is also designed to help reduce the amount of time a care provider needs to spend interacting with high risk patients.
