Description
This model depicts a kidney with a tumor. This model makes a terrific reference for the anatomy of the the kidneys. It also serves to demonstrate what a carcinoma looks like in a tumor.This model was created by segmenting CT data, and then using photographic images to apply texture on top of the segmented model.
This model is 3D printed on cutting edge polyjet technology. This allows the model to have the highest quality visual fidelity, as well as solid durability. This model was created for the GrabCad Make It Real challenge and took second place in that competition for its visual realism and quality.
